To the Menlo Park City Council:

I want to register my support for preserving Menlo Park open spaces and park spaces, and my support for Councilman Mueller's ordinance. During the past year, we witnessed visits to our parks exceeding all previous levels. As the population of our city increases, the number of people relying upon our parks for recreation and mental wellbeing will only continue to rise. Cannibalizing our parks to build high density housing is exactly the opposite approach to providing the outdoor recreation opportunities that our citizens need.

Please vote NO on placing below market rate, high density housing on our park lands. Please vote YES on Councilman Mueller's ordinance to preserve our park lands.
