Council Members:

I am writing to you as a resident citizen and voter in Menlo Park – the Park Forest neighborhood.

I want to encourage the Council to bring in some experts to help guide the Council on the decision IF AND WHEN AND HOW to mandate electric power over gas and convert residents and commercial establishments from gas to electricity. No doubt the Council’s environmental concerns and sentiments are in the right place, but if the mandate/conversion is not done properly and is not well-time there could be consequential results and backfire on everyone.

Taking a little time to get some expert advice on this subject will not only better inform the Council Members, but will help you sell it in to the community as well.

Thank you for considering this subject and for looking at it in more depth with people who are subject matter experts on this.
