I want to give my endorsement for Sally Cole for the open district 5 city council member position. Sally and I were classmates at Stanford business school where she also pursued a law degree via the JD/MBA program.

Shes a passionate, collaborative, creative problem solver and a great person. She has served on the heritage tree task force and now serves as the chairperson of the complete streets commission. Shes also a board member and chair of the governance committee of the National Environmental Education Foundation.

She cares about affordable housing, environmental sustainability, and ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our city government as well as a longer term goal of revitalizing our downtown corridor. Shes an excellent communicator, both soliciting input and feedback, and communicating with multiple stakeholder groups as evidenced by her 15 years of communications leadership at Google and Apple.

Sally has the desire and capacity to put in the time, effort, and mindshare in partnering with you and the rest of the city council to continue enhancing and supporting our wonderful city. Wed be very lucky to have Sally on the city council and representing district 5.
