Dear City Council,
I am writing to urge you to move the SRI Parkline proposal forward by approving the proposed EIR Scope.
I really appreciate the housing component of the proposal, including and especially the dedication of land and proposed partnership with an affordable housing developer to provide 100 deeply affordable homes. I am glad the affordable housing will be located
with the market rate + inclusionary BMR homes.
I note that the EIR scope includes a variant to study up to 800 homes, and I hope you can encourage that the EIR study the maximum proposed to be studied - 800 homes.
Once the EIR scope is approved, I will have more to share about all the things I look forward to with this project (bike/pedestrian improvements, homes near transit, open space, tree preservation, yet unknown new inventions that will be developed at SRI
far into the future)!
Please move the project forward tonight.
