Dear City Council Member: concerning the Tuesday evening agenda item on quiet zones: I live at 191 Forest Lane in Menlo Park, in the Park Forest I HOA; there are THREE HOAs in our group, with 89 townhouse and more than 220 residents. I believe that I can state that almost all our members are in favor of quit zones for Menlo Park . For 15 years our residents opposed the high speed rail and the noise and disturbance that would have brought. I have been living in this hoa for almost 30 years. We continue to want to IMPROVE the noise situation and quiet zones is a significant answer to the noise issue. Please move forward quickly an approve this issue and then implement it. Thank you.
