Im writing to show my enthusiastic support for the climate-related projects listed in the 5 Year Capital Improvement Plan Update, as listed in EQC Vice Chair Hedleys email: CPE002 Electric Vehicle Chargers at City Facilities, STE001 Sea Level Rise Resiliency Plan, Burgess Microgrid and Campus Electrification (an important piece in decarbonizing city buildings and operations, since the Burgess Aquatics Center is "the largest usage of natural gas of any city facility"), and Urban Forest Master Plan; as well as Belle Haven Child Development Center Zero Net Energy Retrofit and Building Exterior Improvements which include roof improvements to qualify for Peninsula Clean Energys program to install solar and batteries with no upfront costs.
