Please share with the members of the Finance and Audit Committee.

To: Members of the Finance and Audit Committee and Council members.
I have been appointed as Chairman of the “Investment Policy Review” (IPR) subcommittee.

I have read the existing policy, and reviewed it with my own investment advisor and in order to properly review the policy, I would like to have a better knowledge of how the policy is implemented:
1) what outside investment advisor or advisors are managing our investments. ( Names and Contact information )
2) what fees are charged for this management.
3) what has been the performance over the last 12 months.
4) what is the purpose and function of the Menlo Park CFO and Interim financial officer AND who decides which investment to purchase or sell)
5) What local or other banks are holding our cash deposits
6) the “IPR” subcommittee needs to review the monthly statements for all our assets
7) on what date does the city council need the Investment Policy “Review”.

Adrian, can you provide a link to the staff report which brought the investment policy last year. Rani is the Citys Interim Finance and Budget Manager and Brittany is our boss over the entire Administrative Services Department.
