Good evening, Mayor Wolosin, Vice Maylor Taylor and City Council Members,
I serve on the Planning Commission and am speaking as an individual.
I am grateful to staff for crafting zoning amendments that will make electrification easier for homeowners. Along with previous comments, I would like to, however, urge that the City Council allow flexibility and remove reference to the restriction that water heater encroachments be limited to the back wall. Allowing this flexibility is one more step towards making it easier for homeowners to electrify in the midst of the climate crisis.
