Hello City Council.

I attended the downtown housing meeting on Thursday November 14th at Arrillaga Family Recreation Center. During that meeting I heard many concerns and frustration from downtown business and property owners regarding the plans to build housing on city parking lots 1, 2, & 3. In an effort to facilitate a well informed, collaborative, productive, and respectful discussion at tonights city council meeting, I produced a Google Document summarizing what I and a few others who attended the meeting heard and shared this document publicly on NextDoor and with the business community representatives that attended. Im hopeful that folks who attend tonights session read this document and hopefully add their questions, comments, and recommendations as input to the process of meeting our housing element goals including downtown housing development.
