Honorable Menlo Park City Council,
The city need to better communicate why their plans are. I know the city tried to get out the word, but it seems to have back fired. Everybody is afraid that really poor people will be moving into to Menlo Park downtown….not use the local shopping and take
away the parking. You need to find away to retain the parking and convince the public this is the right thing to do. I feel that this will revitalize downtown.
I’m a landlord ( along with many others) and I’m all for this. If it’s done correctly.
I support building new affordable homes downtown and I urge you to do the same on January 14th.
Please vote "yes" to new affordable homes downtown on January 14th.
