Dear City Council and Staff,

Menlo Together supports the two main goals of the city’s Housing and Environmental Justice Elements: safe and stable housing for residents and taking action to prevent displacement.

City Council should view agenda item L1 as a housing and displacement issue, as well as a public safety issue.

We ask the City Council to vote NO, or postpone a vote on the proposed ordinance until you can receive recommendations from staff on how to address all of these important goals.
