Dear Menlo Park City Council Members,
My husband and I sincerely appreciate your dedication to our city and the extensive research conducted for the State Housing Element, which has now been accepted. Given this, we believe that reopening the Housing Element is unnecessary.
Regarding potential development on downtown parking lots, we would like to see a comprehensive plan that ensures adequate parking solutions for existing businesses and their employees. Additionally, how do you propose managing parking and storage areas for construction workers and equipment to minimize disruption to downtown retailers? Perhaps construction could be phased, with parking structures addressed first to mitigate the impact.
We appreciate your time and consideration on this matter and look forward to your insights.
Respectfully,
Maya and Phil Sewald
