Dear Mayor Combs, Vice Mayor Nash and esteemed Council Members,

We are submitting the attached document in response to questions raised at a recent Council meeting about the need to examine all four rail crossings as part of the City’s FY22 Quiet Zone Assessment.

This document has already been shared with City Staff, and we look forward to working together with all stakeholders to advance this important initiative to relieve the City from incessant train horn blasts, which can exceed 1,500 per day.
