City Counsel of Menlo Park I recently learned that it has been proposed to cut the budget of the Belle Haven Child Development Center. I hope that the Council will reconsider that proposal. Many parents of Menlo Park children will soon be returning to work as our community reopens after sheltering in place and will need the support of quality child care. This is not a good time to reduce services when our community is experiencing stresses of many kinds.
