Our team recently hosted our annual Volunteer Appreciation Summer BBQ & Pool Party, which was a fantastic team-building event. The pool provided a refreshing escape from the summer heat. Overall, the event was a great success, celebrating our volunteers hard work and dedication while bringing our team closer together.

Our Ombudsman team gathers monthly for comprehensive training sessions, skill-building exercises, and presentations on a wide range of topics.
Each session includes expert-led presentations that provide in-depth insights into relevant subjects, equipping our team with valuable knowledge and tools. We ensure that our Ombudsman team remains highly effective and well-prepared to address the needs of those we serve.

Our Executive Director, Elyse Brummer recently graduated from the San Mateo County Chamber of Commerces Leadership Program.
Congressman Kevin Mullin & Amy Buckmaster, President & CEO of the Chamber presented the Class of 2024 graduates with a diploma in recognition for their commitment to their work in the County.

23-24 IMPACT REPORT
Ombudsman Services of San Mateo County is the only program dedicated to advocating for the dignity and quality of life of people living in licensed residential care facilities. Currently, we oversee 420 licensed facilities and nearly 10,000 citizens of San Mateo County. Please email info@ossmc.org for a copy.

Did you know?
San Mateo County is in the early stages of creating a Family Justice Center for our community. OSSMC is proud to be a part of this project from the ground up. Thank you to Supervisor Noelia Corzo & County Executive Mike Callagy for their leadership in spearheading efforts to create a community-based organization to reduce the number of places victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse must go to receive needed services.
