Hi!
I can’t join the meeting tonight but wanted to express a neighborhood goal of making burgess pool more accessible to residents, rather than groups. This means open swim in the weekends, lap swimming early morning / evenings / weekends (not masters but true neighborhood lap swimming), group lessons to make learning to swim affordable to all. It seems this current vendor is not able to provide these amenities. The city should run the pool itself, or If vendor is put in place it should be with the necessary guardrails to ensure it remains a community pool.
