To the City Council:
My husband, Rico, and I have been residents of Menlo Park since 1988, and we’ve lived in various neighborhoods across the city during the past nearly 35 years. We’ve been active in our community, including the public schools, our church and as coaches for soccer, basketball and Little League baseball. We plan to live in Menlo Park for as long as we can — hopefully another 35 years!
We both want to express our support for appointing Cat Carlton to fill out the term of Ray Mueller. She has the experience and to come up to speed quickly and will contribute right away. She is a problem solver by personality, and we believe she understands what voters care about with regard to the issues facing our city.
We hope you will appoint her for the rest of Councilman Mueller’s term.
