Outdoor dining along Santa Cruz Avenue has been a huge and welcome success! A success that thrives in the warmer summer months and enables our community to enjoy the California lifestyle to its fullest.
I would also ultimately recommend shutting Santa Cruz Avenue down permanently on both sides and turning the stretch from University to ECR into a downtown promenade area. However, prior to doing so, we would need to enhance the infrastructure on Menlo Ave and Oak Grove Ave to accommodate parking.
