Hi,
I write to express my strong support of the Clockworks Restaurant project in its current form. The excitement that so many community members have conveyed with the successful opening of the Guild can only be amplified by the addition of an excellent restaurant next door. The peninsula in general and Menlo Park in particular continue to be underserved by great restaurants and adding in another project by hospitality experts should be high on the council’s list for rapid approval.
I prefer to dine in Menlo Park as often as possible (and happily host Farmhouse Kitchen in my building by the train station) but often end up in Palo Alto or Woodside because there aren’t enough options here.
I strongly urge immediate approval of the project.
