Hello Neighbors, As a 10 year resident of the Blessed Belle Haven Neighborhood I attended last nights public forum to simply get some news about the opening of our beautiful new Center. What I came away with was an appreciation for the concerns of my neighbors and how important it is to the longstanding members of our awesome community to keep the name of the entire center as The Onetta Harris Community Center. Frankly I am convinced. Why name it anything else? This honors the spirit of our little triangle of Menlo Park of which I am fortunate enough to find myself. Weve got it all: Our own police station, total multi-cultural people living in harmony, polite neighbor employees of Facebook, clean streets, excellent transportation and now a stunning community center. Thank you Thank you Thank you to Facebook/Meta for much of this and being great to our neighborhood. Now take it one step further and honor our history. Please post a comment on the City Councils site:
