Dear Members of the City Council:
I have written in the past and am doing so again to stress the need for a safer route for children using Coleman Avenue. Without sidewalks and bike lanes there exists a continual situation of near misses during the high usage times such as before school or later in the day.
The proposed single lane pilot program appears to be a much needed compromise. I urge the Board to recognize this unsafe situation for the protection of children and adults using this street.
