Dear City Council members,
I would like to add my voice to those of others who are advocating for a full sized (360x225) sports filed at the new SRI Parkline project. We have been Menlo Park residents since 2005 and have two teenage daughters who play soccer. The lack of playing fields in Menlo Park is frankly shocking. We have a large number of families and children in Menlo Park and a sizable tax base yet we routinely travel to Palo Alto, Redwood City, Woodside, and Portola Valley to practice and play games because of the lack of fields in Menlo Park. I would like to strongly advocate for the addition of playing fields in Menlo Park to better serve our existing residents. Thanks for your consideration,
