Dear Council Members,
The planned reassignment of the parking plazas to "unassigned lands" to allow hyper development for housing is an extraordinarily bad idea with poorly thought out consequences for the business district and surrounding neighborhoods. Those nearby neighborhoods already bear the brunt of parking inadequacy for downtown and would be inundated with further losses of public parking. The local businesses would suffer because people could not easily access them. This will have a very large impact on our town and should be more carefully debated in public forums rather than pushed through in poorly advertised meetings. I urge you to take a step back and carefully reconsider this plan and other options.
