Dear City Council,
I have been a resident of Menlo Park for 29 years.
I am a big fan of creating more housing in Menlo Park.
However, unless the impacts are studied and unless the parking spaces are preserved, I do not support building housing on Lot 3 in Menlo Park.
Housing on Lot 3 and the loss of parking spaces on Lot 3 would severely negatively impact all of the businesses, offices, services, etc located adjacent on Santa Cruz Av, on Oak Grove Av, on University Dr and on Crane St.
Are you planning to eliminate the parking spaces on Lot 3? Are you planning to build the proposed new housing above the parking on Lot 3 so as to preserve the spaces on Lot 3?
