As a homeowner and business owner in Menlo Park for several decades, I kindly request a delay on the Councils decision to fast track housing projects for Plazas 1-3 until the community, including residents and businesses can weigh in.
My concerns include: How many units will be added? How much more car traffic is estimated? How will parking downtown be affected if lots are taken away? What are the proposed parking alternatives?
I was not aware of any community workshops and meetings to address this proposed housing. Residents and businesses should have ample opportunity to add their input.
Thank you so much for your attention. Please do not fast-track this housing proposal until community members have had the opportunity to sufficiently review the proposed changes.
