Dear city,
I live on Coleman Avenue and would like to share my opinion for the proposed actions:
I DO NOT SUPPORT OR AGREE WITH THIS• Proceed with implementation of a pilot bikeway installation on Coleman Avenue in the City, which would include removal of parking on one side;
REASON: Coleman already has very limited parking, especially for those of us who live in apartment complexes. This rule is Disproportionately punishing people who live in apartments.
I DO NOT SUPPORT THIS • Proceed with implementing traffic calming measures in the City, as quickly as possible;
REASON: Coleman Avenue doesn’t have any traffic problems. I have lived here for 6 years.
I DO NOT SUPPORT THIS • Proceed with implementing an all-way stop sign at Coleman Avenue and Santa Monica Avenue;
REASON: This is a calm street. Why is the city trying to make a mountain of a mole hill?
I COMPLETELY OPPOSE THIS, AS THIS IS DISPROPORTIONATELY GEARED TOWARDS PUNISHING PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN APARTMENTS • Authorize the Mayor to approve and sign a letter to San Mateo County advocating for implementation of a one-way pilot on Coleman Avenue between the City/County border and Ringwood Avenue in order to provide space for people walking and biking; and
I DO NOT SUPPORT THIS • Return to City Council to accept the Coleman-Ringwood Avenues Transportation Study final report.
I sincerely hope that you will take residents wishes into account.
With warm regards,
Pragati Rao
