Dear Menlo Park City Council,
Whenever I shop in downtown Menlo Park I almost always park in the parking lots. They are wonderful as they are, with trees, and close to shops. Mildly handicapped and older people like myself who cannot walk far would have to give up shopping there if this parking disappears. I don’t have a placard. I live in Palo Alto, so I’m not one of your voters. But do look at downtown Palo Alto as what to avoid. I never go there anymore.
Please do not give up these convenient, tree covered parking lots!
