Menlo Park City Council, thank you for considering child bike safety. We live in the Willows and use Coleman Avenue almost daily to get to and from school, friends homes, etc. We are against making Coleman Avenue one way because it will push more traffic on Willow, Middlefield, Bay and side streets in the Menlo Oaks neighborhood. Ringwood is backed up everyday with traffic to/from Bay to Middlefield during peak hours. These alternatives routes can’t handle the added number of cars trying to get to the schools as well as commuter traffic. Students should not have to take longer routes and sit in more congestion that will add a significant amount of time to get to/from school. Thank you,
