Ladies and Gentlemen:
My husband and I both read the op-ed written by Monica Corman, President of the Menlo Park Library Foundation, that appeared in
today's print edition of The Menlo Almanac. This is a valuable and informative piece, and I encourage you to read it if you have
not yet done so. Neither my husband nor I realized that the demand for library services in Menlo Park had increased so
dramatically vs. the capacity of the building. This wasn't apparent on my own (limited) recent visits (on week days) to the
library to check out the occasional book. This piece educated my husband and me on the real need for a new library.
