Hello city council members,
As a 5 year resident of Menlo park, I strongly support high density housing near our downtown!
Our walkable neighborhood, competitive schools, and bicycle friendly infrastructure means this is beautiful spot to create more housing for our diverse community.
Because any projects must replace parking at 90%, and my own experience of never having difficulties parking any time or day of the week I find the opposition to the housing plan to be spurious. When weighed against Menlo Parks housing element, climate goals, and current empty storefronts, preserving parking shouldnt be city councils primary goals.
Please vote in support of more housing in our neighborhood.
