Honorable Menlo Park City Council,
I support building new affordable homes downtown and I urge you to do the same on January 14th.
I love living in the Menlo Park community. But as a resident physician, this place is very difficult to afford. Even one day as an attending physician, I will struggle to afford to stay in this area, and less doctors is not a good thing for the community.
I noticed the downtown community in particular suffers from a lack of activity. We need more people of varying incomes and generations to make Menlo Park a better place for us all.
Please vote "yes" to new affordable homes downtown on January 14th.
