Menlo Park City Council Members
I would like to take this opportunity to remind this council of the ongoing RV issue in regard to last years comments from the council to "let the next sitting council to address the problem." To the public, that vote to "punt" was a taken as a promise. To the public, the RV matter would be on the very first and all subsequent meetings agendas. With all do respect, it seems as if this council is waiting for the public to hold the council to task. Therefore, a request that the RV issue in the Campbell/Scott/Bohannon area be a permanent agenda topic at all future council meeting until a resolve is reached.
Also, since the "Punt" of 2024, the RV count has doubled near 60 RVs and an untold number of automobiles added in. It didnt take a "study" to evaluate the problem as previous council members said was needed. All anyone had to do was visit the area, wait, and visit again to see the population growth.
Campbell/Scott/Bohannon has almost become a sanctioned dumping ground for the RV problem some of us must contend with daily. The tenants of the area have carried the burden which was forced upon us by the city council us for years. It is time the council step up and take actions recommended by Chief of Police Norris.
Thank you for your time.
