Hi City Council,
I'm writing to support the creation of quiet zones at Menlo Park rail crossings. We live near the Glenwood Ave and Encinal Ave crossings and hear the many train horns loudly from early morning to late at night. Sadly the train horns are one of the biggest negative aspects of our first home purchase.
The loudness of the horns makes it challenging for us to take walks around the neighborhood with our toddler and newborn. We are working at home now as well due to COVID, and the trains make productivity more challenging.
