Hello Menlo Park City Council,
My name is Bonnie and I work at the Caltrain office at 4000 Campbell Ave in Menlo Park.
For years now weve been having major parking issues here on the streets of Campbell Ave and Bohannon St. due to RVs, and now its gotten really bad. Between Caltrain, Abbitt and the US Postal Office we are overwhelmed with vehicles parking everywhere.
Each week a new RV arrives to park on these streets and now are getting more inundated with RVs on these streets that we dont even have parking for our own employees.
Also, Our employees are getting parking tickets for parking on Bohannon because they are force to park there due to no parking on Campbell Ave because all the RVs are parked there. I have been talking to the Menlo Park Police about this and they say there is nothing they can do and they can not tow them away ether.
Can you do what the City of Mountain View did and designate an area that these RVs can park.
Can you please help us find a resolution to this issue/problem.
