Dear Council Members, We have lived in Sharon Heights for 15 years and have visited this park regularly while my children were growing up and currently as we walk our dog. This lovely park does not need a bathroom. If you follow Nextdoor posts by people who live near Nealon Park, they regularly complain that bathrooms there are attracting drug use and the homeless around the park area. I always dreaded using the dirty bathrooms there during the couple of emergency visits my kids made when they were little. Please do not inflict this on Sharon Park. We are all willing to use bathrooms at home or take a quick trip to the nearby Sharon Heights Shopping center. The physical addition of bathrooms would also be an eyesore at Sharon Park. Please keep Sharon Park as the untouched and lovely horticultural jewel that it is so that we can all continue to enjoy it for decades to come.
