Dear City Council, I attempted to send my concerns using the “SeeClickFix” app but it is not easy to navigate and I grew frustrated with it… Just as I am with the situation with some of the homeless people in Menlo Park. I have often seen, and briefly conversed, with this woman who is a well known fixture in front of Pharmaca. Apparently, as of this morning, her belongings and carts have expanded and she has moved, for the time, in front of Juban on that block. She had belongings on Crane (2 carts ) against a wall and another cart (maybe not hers) in front of La Boulanger. I am a compassionate person and willing to come listen to (and work on) possible solutions but this is now getting out of hand. Please let me know where to direct my concerns and what possible solutions you, the Council , and city staff are working on currently. We moved to Menlo Park 30 years ago and have absolutely loved it! I truly want to see downtown thrive but with cleanliness and all peoples comforts (residents, visitors, homeless) taken into consideration. Thank you for your service and for a prompt reply.
