I wanted to weigh in on stop signs along Elm.
Ive biked from Lower Campus to Upper Campus (and the reverse) many days, and would like to strongly recommend that stop signs be pivoted to protect kids from oncoming traffic.
That is, instead of having pedestrians/cyclists on Elm stop, have the stop sign face the cross street to favor kids biking straight to school.
I appreciate all the efforts our councilmembers have already put toward increasing cyclist and pedestrian safety in Menlo Park.
