We are writing to offer our opinion on the proposed one way roadway trial on Coleman Drive in Menlo Park. As residents of Menlo Oaks Dr. at the corner of Coleman, with a school-aged child, we are adamantly against the solution to the safety issue. Due to escalated traffic issues over the last five years, it is already difficult during high traffic times to turn onto Willow from Coleman. For every car in the Menlo Oaks area to go up to Ringwood, which is already beyond chaotic in the morning, or go down to Bay Road, which is often backed up for over a mile, would make living here untenable. This will be taking a problem that already exists and exacerbating it to a degree that would severely decrease safety and quality of life, making our area a nightmare to live in. Please do not pass this one way trial on Coleman.
