Greetings City Council,
I have been a business owner in downtown Menlo Park for 28 years.
Ever since I have been doing business here, parking has been an issue
of concern. The thought of taking away 3 precious park areas downtown
without a plan to replace them or allow for places for all these new
proposed tenants to park is downright ludicrous. Have you lost your minds?
The impact on business and ruining the ambiance and accessibility for all
close by will be devastating. You have many other areas of land where this
could be done without such damage to downtown. Stop this madness now.
If this does come to fruition, I will be closing down my business and leaving
the city, although I doubt this matters to you. Please reconsider this agenda
driven insanity.
