Dear Council Members,
I have been a resident of Menlo Park for over 32 years, and my husband for over 50 years. Please consider the impact of building such tall towers on the adjacent neighbors of Menlo, and the overall effect of such inappropriate tall buildings throughout our city. This is not the way for our city to achieve the goal of more affordable housing—and I do feel it would be an insult to the residents who may occupy such towers. We are a low-key, family-friendly city…and such “urbanized structures" are totally out of place and extremely disruptive to the beauty of our city. Surely, a better alternative can be reached without destroying the living atmosphere for all residents. Please require a full Environmental Review for this project.
