To the City of Menlo Park,
I was humiliated by one of your department officers while working at Jeffreys Hamburgers as a dishwasher. They hired me without checking my work permit and made me work extra hours. Then, one day, they fired me. When I came to your police station to file a complaint regarding Indian Americans trying to harm me, they gave me a warning. When I confronted the officer about this, his reply was, "Go die, I dont care." Furthermore, he checked all my belongings while I was homeless with a backpack, searched my bag, and humiliated me with racist comments. I left without remembering the officers name.
I only want to say this: your country is built on racism and prejudice. Not all officers are the same; there are some good ones, but people like him, who told me to go and die, dont value human life. I just want to bring this behavior to your attention so that someone will listen. Looking forward to hearing from your team.
