Dear Council Members, As a Stanford alumni and a Menlo Park resident, I would like to see Stanford create sustainable developments in Menlo Park to the same standards that they do on campus. Please make sure that Stanford’s Middle Plaza development can meet these standards —for the good of our community and world: 1. 100% Renewable Energy for the buildings; and 2. A commitment to charge for parking and offer free transit passes to cut down on car traffic. Why accept anything less? It is in the best long-term interests of our community and environment.
