Dear Councilmembers, I wanted to write to support the Stanford development. Obviously it's outrageous that Stanford doesn't pay local property taxes, but they own the land and federal tax law is out of our control. I think Stanford is working with the city to mitigate downsides. The project provides a major influx of people living near downtown, which is a good thing. Don't let the naysayers have the day.
