Dear members of Menlo Park City Council,
I would like to request that you add to the goals for the year this one:
Implement the Master Plan for Bedwell Bayfront Park.
The Council approved this plan in November 2019. Since then, very little has been done -- bike racks, benches, nicer trash cans. No improvement to paths, or removal of informal parking along the edge of Flood Slough, etc.
This park is much used by many people, from the nearby neighborhoods -- which include low income and less-privileged residents. Investing in providing park improvements for all would be greatly appreciated.
